"Trump"-named rare white buffalo transferred from National Zoo to BLRI in Savar
Savar, June 23 -- A rare white buffalo, popularly known as "Trump" at the National Zoo, has been transferred to the Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute (BLRI) in Savar following an administrative decision.
National Zoo Director Dr Md. Rafiqul Islam Talukdar confirmed this on Monday, saying the animal was shifted to BLRI for conservation, research, and breeding purposes.
"The white buffalo kept at the zoo has been transferred to the Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute in Savar following an administrative decision," he said.
