Dhaka, March 11 -- Health Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain on Wednesday expressed hope that the national e-Health Card would be launched by June, aiming to make the country's healthcare system stronger, more integrated, and effective.

The minister said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has directed the implementation of the card as a priority initiative to strengthen public service delivery.

He made the remarks while speaking at the closing session of a two-day high-level policymaking workshop reviewing preparations for the implementation of the e-Health Card, held at a hotel in the capital's Banani.
