'Amra BNP Poribar' hands over new homes to six families
Dhaka, Sept. 13 -- 'Amra BNP Poribar', a humanitarian initiative of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), on Sunday handed over keys to newly built houses to the family of a slain Jubo Dal leader in Feni and five families whose homes were gutted in an arson attack in Cumilla.
Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, BNP acting secretary general and chief adviser of 'Amra BNP Poribar', handed over the keys on behalf of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman at separate programmes in Feni and Cumilla.
The ceremonies were held at Bhorbazar in Farhadnagar Union of Feni Sadar upazila and Sonapur village in Batisha Union of Chauddagram upazila in Cumilla.
