India, Sept. 26 -- Liberty Tire Recycling took part in a Washington State Tire Amnesty Event alongside the Washington State Department of Ecology and the Lewis County Solid Waste Utility. The three-day event, held in mid-September at the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds in Centralia, marked the area's first such opportunity in nearly two and a half years. Local turnout surpassed expectations, with more than 240 tonnes of tyres and wheels gathered from area residents.
