India, July 2 -- Emirates has just celebrated a major milestone: over one million customer connections to its new Starlink-powered inflight Wi-Fi in only seven months since launch.

Key Achievements

- 1 million+ connections made by passengers since rollout.

- Over 1 Petabyte of data already consumed onboard.

- Feedback has been glowing, with many saying the Wi-Fi feels "better than at home."

Fleet Expansion

- Currently installed on 33 Boeing 777s and 3 Airbus A380s.

- More aircraft are being equipped weekly, with 60+ Starlink-enabled flights daily.

- The A380 features three Starlink antennas to handle its double-deck layout and large passenger capacity.

Connectivity Leap

- Early systems offered less than 1 Mbps total bandwidth.

- Starlink-equipped A380s now deliver 2 Gbps+ combined bandwidth, enabling:
