India, July 8 -- Etihad Airways and Fastjet Zimbabwe have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a new interline partnership, codeshare agreement and frequent flyer partnership with Fastjet Zimbabwe.

Memorandum of Understanding in Harare on 7 July 2026.
Launch Date:
Sales open 24 August 2026; Etihad's direct Abu Dhabi-Harare service begins 24 March 2027.
Scope:
- Interline partnership -> seamless ticketing across both airlines.
- Codeshare agreement -> shared flight numbers for easier booking.
- Frequent flyer partnership -> Fastjet Zimbabwe joins Etihad Guest as its 32nd airline partner.
Connectivity Gains
- For Etihad Guests: Access to Bulawayo, Victoria Falls, and Johannesburg via Fastjet Zimbabwe, all on a single ticket.
- For Fastjet Zimbabwe Customers: Direct access to Abu Dhabi and Etihad's global network spanning the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and beyond.
- Stopover Perks: Up to two complimentary hotel nights in Abu Dhabi through the Stopover programme.
