Emotional Drivers

- 98% of APAC travellers associate travel with positive emotions.

- 84% say travel helps them reset mentally and emotionally.

- 86% feel having a trip to look forward to lifts their mood.

- Anticipation itself is valuable: 73% say it helps them cope with daily life.

Redefining "Worthwhile"

- Satisfaction comes from simple, meaningful moments:

- Natural scenery (35%)

- Quality time with companions (28%)

- Food & drink (26%) - especially in Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam.

- Family trips are most enjoyable for 59%.

- Travellers prioritize local experiences (73%), value-driven choices, and often extend trips (62%) to recharge.

- Alternative accommodations (vacation homes, apartments) resonate for value (35%) and authenticity (29%).
