India, Oct. 22 -- Tourists departing the UAE can now enjoy a hassle-free tax refund experience with a new digital platform. Launched by the UAE's Federal Tax Authority (FTA) in collaboration with Planet Tax Free, the new VAT refund app offers a fully digital, paperless way to claim value-added tax (VAT) refunds. The platform is available at three major airports: Zayed International Airport, Dubai International Airport and Sharjah International Airport. Powered by artificial intelligence (AI), the app streamlines verification, reduces manual checks and allows eligible travellers to complete refund procedures within minutes before departure.
