India, May 14 -- On April 1, a series of beachfront eco tents opened along a pristine sandspit on Dunk Island. The island, which sits between the Australian coast and the Great Barrier Reef, is only 20 minutes from the mainland, but feels worlds away. Most of the island sits within a national park and there is snorkeling along the adjacent reef, rainforest hiking, and plenty of quiet, sandy beach.

The eco tents join Dunk Island's famous beachfront camping, adding a new, more comfortable overnight offering for guests. Each eco tent has a real bed (twins, queen, or king) layered with crisp linens.
