India, Aug. 25 -- As a vegetarian, I'm used to travelling with at least some packed food, in case I don't get enough veggie (without eggs) options. But with New Zealand's strict biosecurity laws, I didn't want to take any chances. So, on this trip to attend the launch of the Michelin Guide in the country, I was raw dogging and left it completely to the Kiwi chefs to feed me. It's not an exaggeration to say they did not disappoint. Across seven days, over 15 restaurants and four wineries, I'm happy to share that New Zealand is where I ate some of the best vegetarian food outside of India.
