India, Nov. 14 -- Travellers heading to or from Italy should brace for disruption on November 14, as multiple strikes are expected to affect around 10,000 passengers and impact public transport in Rome. The Air Traffic Trade Association (ASTRA), which represents air traffic controllers within the ENAV Group, has announced a 4-hour nationwide walkout from 1 pm to 5 pm (local time).

Since ENAV manages air traffic control operations across all 45 airports in Italy, the ASTRA strike is likely to cause widespread delays. The situation will be further compounded by separate industrial action involving staff from budget carriers easyJet and Volotea.
