India, Oct. 23 -- I landed in Aizawl on a whim, drawn by an INR 1,000 flight while backpacking through Tripura. About 24 hours later, the city had left a deeper mark than I'd expected. Perched at 3,750 feet in the Lushai Hills, Aizawl, Mizoram's capital city, is often called the 'Home of the Highlanders'.
