India, Sept. 17 -- Air passengers flying to and from France may face travel disruptions in October due to union disputes and political upheaval. A planned strike by France's largest air traffic controller union, the SNCTA (Syndicat National des du Trafic Aerien), which was originally scheduled for September 18 and 19, 2025, has been postponed.
The strike, which demands pay rises in line with inflation and addresses concerns over air traffic control management, was called off following the collapse of the Bayrou government. The union stated that the absence of a permanent Minister of Transport made negotiations impossible.
