India, Oct. 3 -- The UK is brimming with stately homes, manicured gardens, picture-perfect landscapes, and quaint villages that feel lifted straight from a period drama. In recent years, I've travelled through Dorset, Somerset, and Wiltshire; visited the Holburne Museum in Bath (better known to Bridgerton fans as Lady Danbury's home); and walked the gravel path where Dakota Johnson's Anne Elliot dashed to meet her Captain Wentworth in Persuasion. Most recently, I stayed in a real Tudor castle at Thornbury, where The Six Wives of Henry VIII was filmed. In Britain, a wander through the countryside almost guarantees you'll stumble across a scene you've watched on screen.
