India, Sept. 17 -- Global private equity has been flowing into India's hospital sector at a pace few other industries in the country can match, chasing a structural gap between how many hospital beds India needs and how many it actually has. Large funds have increasingly preferred writing primary growth cheques into founder-led platforms rather than only buying out existing owners, betting that fresh capital deployed into capacity expansion will compound faster than a straightforward change of control. Yatharth Hospitals' new deal with Advent International sits squarely inside that pattern.
