India, Aug. 14 -- Digital maps are no longer useful only when someone opens a navigation app and searches for directions. The same location data can sit inside cars, delivery platforms, fleet-management systems, government projects, digital twins, enterprise software and connected devices. That means the bigger opportunity in mapping may increasingly be hidden behind the screen rather than inside the consumer app itself.

This is what makes C.E. Info Systems (MapmyIndia), interesting after the sharp correction in its shares. The stock is trading around the Rs. 1,000 level, compared with its all-time high of Rs. 2,747, leaving it down around 60 percent from the peak.
