India, Sept. 27 -- Symbiotec Pharmalab enters the listed space with a strong position in steroid and hormone APIs, backed by three decades of manufacturing and regulatory experience. The company reported a 57% average market share across its top five products in FY26, including progesterones, hydrocortisones, testosterone, betamethasone and methylprednisolone.

But the bigger story is the company's attempt to use its fermentation and biotechnology capabilities to build new businesses in insulin drug substance and alternative-protein biomanufacturing.
