India, Oct. 13 -- Key Highlights of Today Market Rally: The Sensex surged 1,109.10 points (1.54%) to 73,033.78, while the Nifty 50 jumped 358.60 points (1.60%) to 22,721.95, ending Tuesday's session with strong gains.

Nifty IT Surges 5.22%: Nifty IT led sectoral gains, rising 5.22% to 29,830.10, supported by a sharp rally in major technology stocks, including HCLTech, TCS, Tech Mahindra and Infosys.

Nifty Top Gainers: HCLTech led the Nifty 50 rally, surging 8.42%, followed by TCS (+6.79%), Shriram Finance (+6.31%), Tech Mahindra (+4.93%) and Infosys (+4.13%).
