India, Sept. 18 -- The engineering conglomerate behind India's most ambitious homegrown chip-design push just gave the clearest look yet at what four years of investment has produced. At a major industry event this week, its semiconductor unit rolled out dozens of products in one go far more than any previous showing including a first in a power-electronics category it hadn't entered before, and a chip years in the making that finally cleared a key design milestone.
