India, July 30 -- Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced that its Energy CarbonLite Solutions business has received a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) from NTPC Ltd. for the main plant package of the 2 800 MW Lara Stage-III Thermal Power Plant in Chhattisgarh. The project, which will add 1,600 MW of ultra-supercritical generation capacity, marks L&T's third ultra-supercritical thermal power project from NTPC in the past two years, further strengthening its position in India's large-scale power EPC market.
