India, Sept. 28 -- Eigen, the group's precision-engineering business, has expanded beyond traditional watch components into automotive, aerospace, electronics, defence and energy storage. It already accounts for nearly 40% of KDDL's standalone revenue, making its performance increasingly relevant to the group's overall earnings trajectory.

The question now is whether Eigen can sustain its growth while expanding capacity, increasing its presence across high-value industries and adding new customers. If it can, the business could gradually change the way investors view KDDL, from a company primarily associated with luxury watches to a group with a meaningful precision-engineering growth vertical.
