India, Sept. 13 -- Copper has emerged as one of the strongest-performing industrial commodities, with prices in the Indian market also moving sharply higher. MCX copper is trading around Rs 1,380-1,400 per kg, keeping the metal close to its recent highs. The move comes as the global copper market faces growing concerns around mine supply and availability, while demand expectations are being reshaped by electrification and the expansion of power-intensive industries.
