India, Oct. 26 -- Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ather Energy reported a significant improvement in its financial performance for the quarter ended September 2026, moving into profitability after reporting losses in the previous year. It is also preparing major manufacturing capacity additions. However, the headline profit tells only part of the story. Rapid sales growth is accompanied by heavy manufacturing investment. The question is whether operating cash generation can eventually fund expansion.

With a market capitalization of Rs. 61,993.15 crore, the shares of Ather Energy Ltd were trading at Rs. 1,568.05 per share, up 13.31 percent from its previous closing price of Rs. 1,383.85 apiece.
