India, Sept. 9 -- Adani Energy Solutions, India's largest private power transmission and distribution player, has just added a long-dated contract to its books through its subsidiary PTSL. The deal, signed with Maharashtra's state power distributor on September 8, locks in a multi-decade supply commitment routed through the company's energy aggregation business. It landed right after a strong June quarter, where the segment driving this growth was already outperforming the rest of the portfolio, raising the question of how the company plans to scale supply to match.
