India, Sept. 14 -- India's media landscape is undergoing a significant transformation, with digital media expanding rapidly as traditional television revenue declines. Digital media revenue crossed the Rs. 1 lakh crore mark to hit Rs. 1.11 lakh crore in CY25 and is projected to grow at a 14% CAGR to Rs. 1.64 lakh crore by CY28.

Conversely, linear television revenue fell 9% in CY25 (losing 11 million pay-TV households) and is expected to contract at a 5% annual rate, dropping from Rs. 61,700 crore in CY25 to Rs. 53,500 crore by CY28.
