India, Aug. 23 -- Yash's Toxic pre-release event in Hyderabad was supposed to be a celebration ahead of the film's August 26 release but the evening turned tense when a sound system collapsed while the actor was addressing a packed crowd. Several people were injured in the incident and taken to hospital while Yash himself stopped his speech to check whether everyone was safe.

The incident is not the first time a major Indian film event has run into trouble because of huge crowds. Over the years, premieres, audio launches, fan meets and promotional events involving some of the country's biggest stars have witnessed stampedes, injuries, sudden crowd surges and even deaths.
