India, Aug. 27 -- India's hopes of completing a 2-0 series sweep were dashed as Sri Lanka fought back to secure a draw in the second Test in Colombo. After declaring on 503/9 and bowling Sri Lanka out for 290, India enforced the follow-on with a 213-run lead and looked on course for victory. However, Sonal Dinusha once again frustrated the visitors, remaining unbeaten on 133 as Sri Lanka recovered to 429/9 in their second innings.

India had chances to finish the game, but Sri Lanka's lower order held firm, with Keshara Nuwantha scoring 46 and Pasindu Sooriyabandara making 92 after his first-innings 80.
