India, May 18 -- From the past couple of months Dravidian battleground has been witnessing a lot of political dramas. The new development coming from the state is S. Semmalai's resignation. The AIADMK politician and ex-Tamil Nadu minister, has resigned from the party officially following the internal rifts within EPS led AIADMK. This move has fueled rumours that he might team up with Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. His resignation has put the spotlight on the internal rifts in AIADMK. The party has been suffering with factionalism since the demise of former chief minister J. Jayalalithaa.
