India, Sept. 18 -- Carlos Alcaraz will not be part of Spain's Davis Cup campaign this weekend as David Ferrer's team travels to Santiago to face Chile in the second round of the 2026 Qualifiers on Saturday, September 19.

Instead, Spain will turn to a young group led by Rafael Jodar. Chile, meanwhile, will have home advantage at the Court Central Anita Lizana, with Alejandro Tabilo leading Nicolas Massu's team.

The tie takes place on September 19 and 20, with the winner securing a place in the Davis Cup Final 8 in Bologna. Spain reached this stage after receiving a bye in the first round as last year's runners-up.
