India, June 19 -- The London Marathon will be held over two days for the first time in its history in 2027, organizers confirmed on Friday. The event is scheduled to take place on April 24 and 25, 2027, and the change has been made to cope with the huge rise in the number of people wanting to take part. As a result, a record 100,000 runners are expected to complete the race across the weekend and cross the famous finish line on The Mall.
