India, Sept. 28 -- VNI, the benchmark index of Vietnam, fell by nearly 14.13 this morning when it opened. And the HNX index from the national capital Hanoi also opened in red by 0.09%. The bullish performance has now worried domestic investors in Vietnam.

Why is Vietnam's Stock Market Down Today?

Vietnam's stock market faced fresh selling pressure on Monday, September 28, as the VN-Index dropped 14.13 points, or 0.79%, to 1,770.98 in live trading. The HNX-Index likewise declined, losing 0.24 points, or 0.09%, to reach 271.97 points during its opening session.

This weak performance follows a tough week for Vietnamese equities, as investors stayed cautious after the VN-Index fell below the significant 1,800-point mark.
