India, June 2 -- ED Conducts Searches on Vedanta Group (FEMA Case): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is, according to media reports, carrying out searches at the offices of the Anil Agarwal-led Vedanta Group on June 2. The matter seems tied to suspected breaches of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, mainly around royalty payments that the company made. As per the reports, the ED team is conducting these searches at Vedanta office locations in Mumbai and Delhi.
