India, Aug. 14 -- Nineteen years after Awarapan introduced audiences to Emraan Hashmi's iconic character Shivam, the story has finally continued with Awarapan 2. But there is one noticeable change behind the camera. Mohit Suri, who directed the 2007 original, has not returned for the sequel. Instead, Awarapan 2 has been directed by Nitin Kakkar. Given Suri's strong association with the original film, the change naturally raised questions among fans.
