India, July 15 -- The Wall Street market had a resilient performance on Wednesday amid encouraging inflation numbers, better corporate earnings and growing tensions between countries in the Middle East region. Even though worries about the conflict between the US and Iran had made the energy sector volatile, the lower-than-expected inflation figures raised hopes for no changes in interest rate policy from the US Federal Reserve in the coming period.
