India, Aug. 4 -- Veteran actor Pradeep Rawat, whose powerful screen presence made him one of Indian cinema's most memorable villains, has died at the age of 74 after battling blood cancer. According to reports, the actor passed away at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, where he had been undergoing treatment for a prolonged illness. The news was confirmed by actor Yashpal Sharma while actress Roshni Achreja also paid tribute to the late star.
