India, Aug. 20 -- A luxury safari flight in northern Kenya ended in tragedy on Wednesday when a helicopter carrying seven people crashed near Mount Ololokwe, killing everyone on board. The victims included five Americans, Ecuador's intelligence chief Michel Sensi-Contugi and his wife, and Telemundo executive Jose Alberto Suarez. Kenyan authorities have opened an investigation, but the cause of the crash remains unknown.

The Eurocopter EC130 B4 was flying from the Loisaba wildlife conservancy toward the Ewaso Nyiro River in Samburu County when it went down at about 9:13 AM local time. The helicopter was operated by Lady Lori Helicopters and carried guests travelling with luxury safari company &Beyond.
