India, Aug. 20 -- Sandra Bullock is opening up about the loss of her longtime partner, Bryan Randall, nearly three years after his death. The Oscar-winning actress spoke about Randall's private ALS battle and the emotional toll of keeping his diagnosis away from the public during an appearance on SmartLess with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes.

Randall died on August 5, 2023, aged 57, after privately battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) for three years. Bullock revealed that Randall had asked her not to speak publicly about his illness, a request she honoured even as it left her carrying the "huge weight" of his diagnosis largely on her own.
