India, June 10 -- The Indian film industry is in deep grief as legendary filmmaker and actor P. Bharathiraja passed away at Chennai's Siddaiahapathi Mutiaidamogna Hospital in Chennai at the age of 84, due to old age complications. He was a pioneer in Indian cinema and was popularly called Iyakkunar Imayam. Though his life is over, his legacy remains strong, inspiring generations of filmmakers and storytellers still to come.
