India, Aug. 7 -- Marvel Studios is slowly building the next generation of mutants for its much-awaited X-Men reboot. The latest name making headlines is Heartstopper star Kit Connor who is expected to play Scott Summers, better known as Cyclops, in the upcoming film.

Connor's addition comes after Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink became the first actor to officially join Marvel's new mutant lineup as Jean Grey. Meanwhile, Samara Weaving has also been confirmed to play another major character from the X-Men universe.
