India, June 4 -- US President Donald Trump recently announced that he is nominating his former personal lawyer Todd Blanche for the post of US attorney general. Blanche currently serves as the acting attorney general.

President Trump's Nomination Announcement

US President Donald Trump announced his intention to nominate Todd Blanche for the post of US attorney general at the White House's Rose garden event that happened on Wednesday. In the video, Trump said "He's acting attorney general. Tomorrow I'm instructing Dan and everybody else that's involved in that very complicated process, which is going to be, I think, very quickly, that we are going to make him permanent attorney general".
