India, July 31 -- India's medal count at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow received another boost as Seema Kaliramna secured the bronze medal in the women's discus throw with a best effort of 58.65m. The result marked India's 17th medal overall and the country's fourth athletics medal of the Games. Seema recovered well after opening with a foul, following it up with a throw of 57.32m before producing her best distance in the third round to move into the medal positions.
