India, Aug. 25 -- Daniel Diemer is the latest actor to join the cast of Heated Rivalry Season 2, and fans of Percy Jackson and the Olympians may already recognise him. Diemer has been cast as Ryan Price, one of the new characters entering the hit hockey romance series alongside Shaheen Jafargholi, who will play Ryan's boyfriend, Fabian Salah.

The casting announcement comes as Heated Rivalry expands beyond the central story of Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, played by Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie. Season 2 is expected to draw from multiple books in Rachel Reid's Game Changers universe, including Tough Guy, The Long Game and Role Model.
