India, Aug. 11 -- A man wearing a silver bin on his head is preparing to enter one of Britain's most unusual parliamentary contests. While Nigel Farage is expected to dominate the Clacton by-election, Count Binface has turned the race into a mix of political satire, comedy and pointed criticism of Britain's political establishment.

Count Binface is the political character created and performed by London comedian and writer Jonathan David Harvey, who presents himself as an intergalactic politician from the planet Sigma IX. He has repeatedly contested elections in Britain and is now running in Clacton after Farage resigned his seat and triggered a by-election.
