India, Aug. 2 -- Calypso is one of the most interesting female characters in Greek mythology and an outstanding character from Homer's The Odyssey. Though she is present in only a tiny part of the poem, her deeds have been the subject of debate for many centuries by historians, literary critics, artists and film directors.
