India, July 27 -- India's Bindyarani Devi added another medal to the nation's tally at the Commonwealth Games 2026, securing bronze in the Women's 58kg weightlifting final on Monday. Her podium finish delivered India's sixth medal of the Games after she registered a combined lift of 199kg. Nigeria's Rafiatu Folashade dominated the event to claim gold with a total of 229kg, while Canada's Ann Sophie Taschereau finished second with 215kg.
