India, Aug. 11 -- Andy Manske, a 27-year-old medical service technician from the Milwaukee suburbs, is running against overwhelming odds in Wisconsin's Republican primary for governor, taking on Congressman Tom Tiffany, the party's Trump-endorsed frontrunner, in his first-ever bid for public office.

Manske has balanced his shoestring campaign around his full-time job, at one point driving two hours from the apartment he shares with his wife in Greenfield to attend a Republican event, only to arrive and find it closed to the public.

It's not a fun feeling when you go up to Green Bay or wherever for that, right? Manske told Wisconsin Public Radio.
