India, July 26 -- The Hungarian Grand Prix 2026 is set to be underway today, July 26, Sunday at Hungaroring. Lando Norris secured pole position with a fastest lap of 1:17.207 in qualifying and will start from the front of the grid. Charles Leclerc has been promoted to second after Lewis Hamilton received a three-place grid penalty for impeding Oscar Piastri during Q3. Hamilton will now start fifth. Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli, who originally qualified fourth, was also handed a three-place penalty for failing to slow under yellow flags following Max Verstappen's spin. As a result, Antonelli will start seventh for Sunday's race.
