India, Sept. 18 -- Marathi film Gondhal is officially heading into the Oscars race. Santosh Davakhar's film has been selected as India's official entry for the 99th Academy Awards in 2027. The Film Federation of India chose the Marathi thriller from 33 films submitted for consideration.
