India, June 9 -- Stock Market Today, Opening Bell: Indian markets kicked off on June 9 with a kind of cheerful vibe, and it seems like they took encouragement from positive global cues while also brushing aside some of the caution that was still lingering from the previous session. The Sensex opened 356.67 points higher at 73,880.93, whereas the Nifty moved up 114.10 points to trade above the 23,200 mark at 23,237.10. Market breadth also looked pretty upbeat, with nearly 1,930 stocks inching forward against just 549 declining. In the early rush, Trent, InterGlobe Aviation, Grasim, Jio Financial, and Wipro were among the ones leading the way.
