India, Aug. 10 -- American singer and songwriter Usher has unexpectedly found himself at the centre of a bizarre social media theory. The musician is currently on the Raymond & Brown Tour with Chris Brown, but his recent concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey has sparked a rather unusual question online - was that really Usher on stage?

Following his August 7, 2026 performance, photos and videos from the concert quickly made the rounds on social media. Some users claimed that the man performing on stage looked noticeably different from the Usher they were familiar with. And things got even stranger when a few people began suggesting that the singer may have hired a clone or lookalike to perform in his place.
